Vicki Brumberg

Vicki is a certified speech-language pathologist with 12 years of experience as a school-based speech clinician. She is pursuing a Doctor of Speech Pathology (SLPD) and hopes to complete a

capstone project focusing on stuttering intervention in late 2024. Vicki has worked with students of all grade levels in public schools and currently practices in a high school setting. Her

passions include working with adolescents to develop autonomy and self-advocacy in their transition to adulthood and supporting neurodiversity around her school campus by educating others about ableist or discriminatory practices when working with a diverse student population.

Vicki lives near Palm Springs, California, and works as a part-time adjunct instructor for the speech pathology program at Nevada State University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts

in Speech Pathology in 2012 and a Teaching Excellence award in 2021. She received her Master of Science in Clinical Speech-Language Pathology from Northern Arizona University in 2016 and is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association special interest group for fluency. A former triathlete and learn-to-swim instructor, Vicki still enjoys swimming, cycling,

and running for fun, as well as coaching and mentoring others to help them achieve their goals in life.
