Camp Counselor Positions Are Open!

Come join our team of positive and energetic staff to continue to help youths and teens who stutter reach their full potential through life changing experiences and relationships. You will gain valuable work experience, make life-long friends and cultivate professional contacts that will help you with future education and employment opportunities. Our camp counselors have gone on to successful careers in the fields of education, outdoor recreation, therapeutic recreation and summer camps.

Are You Ready for an Unforgettable Experience?

As a volunteer camp counselor, you will have the opportunity to support campers throughout the week of camp. Counselor’s help campers experience Camp Words Unspoken by providing social support, participating in camp events and assisting with programs.

As a Camp Counselor, You Will:

• Live with campers in a cabin, sleep on a twin bed and eat meals in the dining hall.
• Instruct camp activities (athletic field games, arts/crafts, improv, etc).
• Help campers thrive, reach their goals, play, laugh, and make new friends.
• Attend a one-day orientation the day before camp begins.
• Interview and receive a background check before attending camp.
