Deborah L. Bennett

Debbie has been a certified Speech-Language Pathologist in private practice for over 25 years. She leads the NH Chapter of the National Stuttering Association and is a Spero Ally of Stuttering. She is a member of ASHA special interest groups in Fluency and Counseling, and is trained in Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Solution-Focused therapy and Avoidance Reduction Therapy (r). Her interests include stuttering and cluttering, augmentative communication, autism, and developmental disabilities.


Debbie has worked in a variety of settings including public and private schools, early intervention, and in pediatric mental health and skilled nursing facilities. She is an adjunct clinical supervisor at the University of New Hampshire. Debbie enjoys lake living on beautiful Pawtuckaway Lake in southern NH, where she loves boating, kayaking, snorkeling, hiking and golf. She also brings a love of singing, music and theater to Camp Words Unspoken.
